Bob Eskeitz, currently holding the office of president of the Badger Bonsai Society, has in just a few years developed into one of the midwest’s finest bonsai talents. At last year’s club show, public balloting gave Bob the top four places, as his trees bested those of many longtime members. His collection of approximately forty bonsai are all top shelf.

His styling leans toward the bold and daring, with large specimens more prevalent than mame. He makes extensive use of power tools ranging from chain saws to the finest dremmel bits to create precision-carved jins and shari. He is adept at bending large branches that most of us would not even attempt.

His background in art has served him well in styling some of the finest bonsai in the midwest.
